I am a potter in San Antonio, Texas, working mostly with mid-range stoneware. I offer mostly functional wheel thrown pottery, but dabble in raku and do some handbuilt pieces as well.

I have been working with clay since 1991 The thought of creating my own pieces was too tempting to give it up. I took additional classes and it was in Florida where my love affair with clay began in earnest. Since that time, I have enjoyed learning and growing as a potter. I love the challenge of creating and mastering a new shape or seeing a new glaze come out of the kiln.

Up until recently, I taught classes at Sunin Clay Studio in San Antonio, Texas. It’s a small working and teaching studio where I can teach others the art of pottery. I create all of my etsy pieces at my private studio.

All of my pieces are unique and handmade. I am not a production potter, so each piece has it’s own personality and character. No molds or slip casting is ever used in any of my piece.
